<div><strong>Client Profile:</strong><br>ING DIRECT operates direct retail-banking activities for individual clients in Canada, and is a member of the ING Group, a company of Dutch origin with 150 years of experience, providing a wide array of banking, insurance and asset management services in over 50 countries.</div>

<div><strong>Challenge:</strong><br>ING had recently recognized that its existing Lotus Notes/ Domino-based Intranet environment was no longer providing the collaboration and information sharing capabilities that it required. </div>

<div><strong>Solution:<br></strong>ING engaged Microsoft Gold Certified Partner Team Technologies Inc. to implement a SharePoint pilot environment for a small group of users. The new Intranet capabilities were so well recieved by the pilot users, that the organization decided to roll SharePoint out to all users across the enterprise. Again with the assistance of Team Technologies, ING has now implemented a Web-based collaborative Intranet solution that provides a foundation for improved information sharing and built in applications so users can collaborate more effectively. </div></div>
